These workshops introduce a different way of thinking, using art as a lens for how we navigate everyday complexity.
They are designed for people with a lot going on, those experiencing sustained overwhelm, and anyone carrying the mental load of high responsibility or perfectionism.

We begin together in a single gallery to get oriented. From there, you’re invited to stay nearby and talk through a few observations, or to explore the museum on your own.
You’re given a small set of prompts that encourage looking from different angles. You choose which ones resonate and how you want to engage with them as you move through the museum.
Participants are encouraged to take photos along the way. In the second half of the workshop, we spend time with what you noticed and how the experience connects to your own thinking.

Hi, I’m Ryan. I bring over 20 years of experience as both an entrepreneur and a working artist. I’ve experienced the cycles of momentum, pressure, and overwhelm that come with building and sustaining creative and professional work over time.
Art shapes how I see and understand the world. Through years of making, exhibiting, and observing, I’ve seen how people naturally slow down, open up, and relate differently when they spend time with work that is thoughtful, layered, and imperfect.
I use museum galleries as a setting to explore how we think and where we get stuck, by changing the environment and slowing the pace. The work is less about instruction and more about noticing what’s already there, using art as a shared reference point for reflection and conversation.
My workshops are designed to be welcoming and nonjudgmental, allowing participants to come as they are and engage at their own pace.
